How does Professional Pressotherapy work?

A little
history.

The inventor of this method is Dr. Emil Vodder, a German doctor of philosophy and physiotherapist. After studying the surprising properties of lymph, he developed “lymphatic drainage”. This invention then required over 20 years of work before it was recognized as effective by scientists and taught to Berlin naturopaths.

How it works
pressotherapy.

This method uses inflatable straps that surround the legs, arms and abdomen, and an air compressor that gradually builds up pressure. This massage activates lymphatic circulation, stimulates the immune system and provides a deep sense of relaxation. After several 25-minute sessions, the sensation of heaviness gradually diminishes. Easy to use, home pressotherapy is totally natural and drug-free, providing real comfort, well-being and immediate relief. The treatment is simple, risk-free, has no side-effects and takes up very little space.

Venous and lymphatic circulation.

The blood system transports essential elements to the cells, while the lymphatic system eliminates excess tissue fluid, called lymph, along with waste products and toxins. These systems are connected, with the lymphatic vessels collecting the interstitial fluid formed when blood circulates through the capillaries. The lymph, filtered by the lymph nodes, then returns to the veins.

A major difference is that blood circulation is driven by the heart, while lymphatic circulation depends on muscle movement.

Use cases.

In the field of aesthetics, the pressotherapy system is used to reduce, eliminate or prevent cellulite by activating lymphatic drainage. To achieve this, the machine exerts two different types of pressure: Active pressure, which breaks down accumulations of fat, and circulating pressure, which facilitates its elimination.

As a therapeutic method, pressotherapy revitalizes the circulatory system. It increases body oxygenation, stimulates the immune system and tones muscles. Thanks to our 5-channel compression method and 3 programs, you’ll benefit from professional results for all your needs.
